While having a customer email address is beneficial for sending confirmation emails, reminder emails, and other communications, there are situations where you might not have the email address on hand, such as customer walk-ins or phone bookings.


Jezzam makes it easy to create bookings without requiring an email address. This applies to both appointment bookings and bookings for events, courses, and classes.


Ways to Create a Booking Without an Email Address


Admin Calendar Bookings:

  1. Go to your Admin Calendar and create a booking as you normally would.
  2. Enter the customer's first and last name.
  3. Leave the email field blank.
  4. Complete any other required fields and finalize the booking.


Creating Customers Without an Email:

  1. Navigate to the Customers section in your Admin Panel.
  2. Create a new customer record without entering an email address.
  3. Use this customer record for future bookings.


Updating Customer Information


If you later obtain the customer's email address, you can update their information in two ways:

  • Through the Customers section.
  • By editing an existing booking associated with that customer (this will also update their customer record found in the Customers section).


The updated email address will automatically reflect across their other bookings.


Important Considerations


Email Communications:

  • Customers without an email address will not receive any email communications, including confirmation, rescheduling, or any other emails.


Email-Dependent Workflows:

  • Customers without an email address will not be able to participate in any workflows that require emails to be sent.


Self-Service Online Bookings:

  • For online bookings made by customers, an email address is required to ensure they receive confirmation emails and other communications. This helps maintain data quality and ensures an efficient booking process.
