How do I change the information included in a 1-way calendar sync subscription calendar?

By default, when you first create a Subscription Calendar, the only information included is the name of the Service (for appointment bookings) or the Event name (for courses, classes and events). 


Jezzam allows you to include further information for appointment bookings.  This information includes:


  • Customer standard information (such as name, email address, address and phone numbers)
  • Customer custom fields you may have created in your account
  • Staff and Resource information used for the booking (such as staff name, staff email address and resource name use)
  • The Service (or event) description
  • The custom booking fields used for the booking


NOTE: if any information you include in the Subscription Calendar is not found for a particular booking, this information will simply not appear in the Subscription Calendar


The information you choose to include in a Subscription Calendar will be available to anyone who has access to the link for the Subscription Calendar.  You can include as much or as little information as needed depending on how you want to use the Subscription Calendar.  You should carefully consider any security and privacy implication of the information you decide to include and how you give access to the Subscription Calendar.


IMPORTANT: The information you include in your subscription calendars may contain sensitive Personally Identifiable Information and details of your business operations. You should carefully consider what information you include and who you give subscription calendar links to.

By using the the Subscription Calendar feature you confirm that you are aware of any privacy issues and comply with any local or international laws or regulations covering the display of Personally Identifiable Information.


Jezzam allows you to create multiple subscription calendars for your Account and each of these can be configured to contain different information. For example, you might create a subscription calendar for your Account that only you view on your mobile phone which contains all the information about bookings, but you could also create another subscription calendar for your whole Account that only shows the booking title and does not include Staff or Customer information. This could be embedded on your website and an informational tool.


Jezzam also lets you create more than one Subscription Calendar for your Staff and Resources and for each of these subscriptions you can also select what information is published in the calendar.


To select what information you choose to include in a Subscription Calendar:

  1. Log into you Jezzam Account
  2. Go to Settings > Calendar Sync
  3. Select the Account, Staff Member or Resource on the left hand side
  4. You can view what options are currently selected for a Subscription Calendar by clicking the "View options" link
  5. To edit these options, click the "Edit" button.
  6. Use the selections in the "Options" section to include or exclude the information to be published in this calendar
  7. Click "Save"


If you are updating an existing Subscription Calendar, after saving, anyone who has subscribed to this calendar will receive the specified information for all bookings in calendar.


Note the frequency with which the booking information is updated via a 1-way calendar sync Subscription Calendar depends on the calendar app used.  Jezzam has no control over this refresh frequency.
