How to cancel a customer's membership

Modified on Thu, 1 Oct, 2020 at 5:23 PM

There may be times when you wish to cancel a customer's membership.

Cancelling a membership will remove membership for the customer from all membership groups.

When you cancel a customer's membership, they will still be able to log in to their Jezzam User Profile (as they have direct responsibility for their own user profile) but they will not be able to make membership bookings when logged in via their user profile.

Any publicly available services or events would be unaffected.

To re-instate a membership where one has been cancelled, the customer would need to be re-invited.

How to cancel a membership

  1. Log in to your Jezzam Admin Panel
  2. Click "Customers"
  3. Find the customer whose membership you want to cancel in the Customer List
(Tip: you can use the search box to easily find a customer)
  4. Click on the customer in Customer List
  5. Click the "Membership" tab
  6. Click the "Cancel membership" link (note: this will only be available if the customer has an active membership)
  7. You can choose to send an email to the customer.  Enter any option message if required. You can also choose not to send the customer a notification about their cancelled membership.
  8. Click "Cancel membership"
