When your Customers make an online booking for one of your Services they have the option to select the Staff Members and/or Resource that provides the Service*


In this situation, if the Customer does not select a Staff Member or Resource, Jezzam will automatically select one for them.


This flexibility allows your Customers to either select their preferred Staff Member and Resource or, when they do not have a preference, lets Jezzam make the automatic selection.


There may be situations where you want to ensure that your customers have to make the Staff Member or Resource selection themselves and not allow Jezzam to make the selection automatically.


This can be easily achieved by making the Staff Member or Resource selection for a Service required.


  1. Log in to your Admin Panel
  2. Go to Settings > Services
  3. Select the Service you want to configure
  4. Click on the Staff tab (note: this may also be called the Resources tab, the Staff and Resources tab, or the Locations, Staff & Resources tab - depending on how you have configured your account)
  5. Make sure the checkbox for Staff selection mode (or Resource Selection mode) is checked as required
  6. Click "Save"


This setting only affects bookings made online.  It does not affect bookings made via the admin calendar.


* Note: depending on how you have set up your account, your Service may be configured use Staff or Resources or both.
