How to change the information displayed when viewing Event bookings in the Admin Calendar

When you view bookings for an Event in the Admin Calendar, Jezzam displays a list of bookings including information such as the customer's name and booking status.

If you use custom booking fields, you can choose to display information from one of those fields in the bookings list as well.

This setting also applies when viewing bookings for a Course Session, as Course Sessions work in the same way as Events within the Admin Calendar.

Choosing a custom booking field to display

To choose the additional information shown in the bookings list:

1. In the Admin Panel, go to Settings.
2. Find 'Display options for event bookings'.
3. Under 'Select the custom booking field to display in the event bookings list', choose the custom booking field you want to use.
4. If required, enter an optional column heading.
5. Save your changes.

Information entered in the selected custom booking field will then be displayed as an additional column when you view bookings for an Event or Course Session in the Admin Calendar.

Changing the column heading

The optional column heading lets you choose a shorter or clearer heading for the information displayed in the bookings list.

For example, if your custom booking field is called 'Do you want food?', you might use 'Food?' as the column heading.

What happens if a booking doesn't use the selected field?

Not every Event or Course needs to use the same custom booking fields.

If a booking does not use the custom booking field you have selected, Jezzam will display the default information for that booking instead.

This setting therefore works particularly well if you have a custom booking field that you use across many or all of your Event bookings.

NOTE: If the information displayed from the custom booking field is longer than 25 characters, Jezzam will automatically abbreviate it in the bookings list.
