Jezzam's focus is on scheduling and booking.  Depending on how you have Jezzam configured, it can send over 25 different types of emails to your customers, administrators and staff that are related to managing your bookings. That's a big time saving!

While it easy to send individual emails to customers, Jezzam isn't a bulk emailing or marketing email platform.

For bulk emails we suggest one of the two possible routes.

1. Use a third party bulk/marketing email provider

There are many  providers that offer the ability to send bulk marking emails.  We recommend using one of these for sending this type of email to your customers.  They make it very easy to send out bulk emails, with unsubscribe options etc.

A couple that we suggest you look at are Mailchimp and Mailerlite although there are many others.

In order to use both of these options you need to get the list of email addresses of your customers.

Jezzam allows you to easily export your customer data via the Analytics sections:

  1. Log in to your Jezzam account admin panel
  2. Go to the admin Analytics section
  3. Click on the "Reports" tab
  4. Select the "Customer list"
  5. Use the "Column" feature and filter to select the customers you wish to export
  6. Export as a CSV

You can use the CSV created in the above to import your customers into your marketing email provider.

For more details, see the help provided by the marketing email provider on importing data.

Please ensure you observe local regulation on data privacy before you import and send marketing emails to your customers.

2. Use your own email app

You can typically send to a list of email addresses from your own email software. Different apps have different restrictions but for example, if you use outlook.com you can send up to 5000 emails daily with a maximum of 500 recipients per message.

It is worth checking what restrictions your email provider has before doing this but it it likely that you can send emails to a reasonably long list. If there are any restrictions on the maximum number of recipients per email It may be possible to split the overall list into smaller batches.

To get a list of emails you can use the customer export facility above to export the email addresses and then is is usually possible to simply cut and paste the email address column into your email app.

If you go this route you may want to use the "Bcc" field in your email app for the email addresses so that you don't make all the email addresses viewable.
