You can set the amount of time your customers can book in advance (the "Advanced Booking Period") and the amount of time they need to book before the start of the booking (the "Booking Lead Time"). This can be done at an account level.
For example, you may want customers to only book up to 3 months in advance (an Advanced Booking Period of 3 months) but they must book at least 7 days in advance of the start of a booking (a Booking Lead Time of 7 days).
Together the Advanced Booking Period and Booking Lead Time rules make up the account level "Booking window". That is, the period of time in which bookings can be made.
Booking rules only apply to online bookings made by your customers. They do not apply to bookings made in the Admin Calendar.
Your account level booking rules apply to online bookings made for Services or Events. However, if Service specific rules have been created, the Service specific rules will override your account level rules. For more details see our help guide on how to set up Service specific booking rules.
To set your account level booking rules:
- Log in to your Admin Panel
- Go to Settings > Booking Rules
- Scroll down to "Online booking rules"
- Set the Advanced Booking Period and Booking Lead Time as required
- Click "Save"
If you use Jezzam's membership feature, you can set different booking rules for Member bookings and Public bookings.
