Customer login and User Profile overview

Modified on Mon, 2 Nov at 9:11 PM

Every Jezzam user has a User Profile. This is the personal area where users can manage their own details, email address, password, security settings and preferences.

For customers, the User Profile also acts as a customer login area where they can view their bookings and orders, check booking details and access relevant booking actions where available.

The User Profile is designed to be clear, simple and mobile-friendly, so it can be used easily on phones, tablets and computers.

Who has a User Profile?

Every person with a Jezzam user login has a User Profile.

This can include:

  • Customers who create a User Profile to manage their bookings and information
  • Members, where the account uses Jezzam Membership feature
  • Administrators who log in to manage a Jezzam account

For most customers, having a User Profile is optional. However, it gives them a central place to manage their bookings, orders and personal information.

If an account uses Jezzam Membership, members must have a User Profile so their membership can be linked to their login.

What customers can use their User Profile for

Customers can use their User Profile to view and manage information connected to their bookings.

With a User Profile, customers can:

  • View their bookings and orders at any time
  • Open individual booking details
  • View order details and the bookings included in an order
  • Check booking status, dates, times and other booking information
  • Make a payment for a booking, where payment is required and available online
  • Accept a pencilled in booking, where that option is available
  • Keep their personal details up to date
  • Save time when making future bookings, because saved details can prefill booking information where relevant

This gives customers a convenient way to check their booking information without needing to search through old emails.

What administrators can use their User Profile for

Administrators also have a User Profile.

For administrators, the User Profile includes the 'Accounts' section. This is where they can access the Jezzam accounts they manage.

An administrator may not have any customer bookings or orders in their User Profile, but they can still use it to manage their own personal details, email address, password, security settings and preferences.

Accounts

The 'Accounts' section shows the Jezzam accounts linked to the user.

Administrators can use this area to access and manage the Jezzam accounts they are connected to.

Members may also use this area to book again with an account they are a member of.

Bookings and orders

The 'Your Bookings' section lets customers view their bookings and orders from their User Profile.

Customers can use this section to check upcoming bookings, open individual booking details and view information such as the booking status, date, time, location and booking reference.

Where relevant, customers may also see actions for a booking, such as making a payment or accepting a pencilled in booking. The actions shown depend on the booking status, booking workflow and account settings.

Customers can also use the 'View orders' option to see their orders. This lets them view order details, order totals, balances due where relevant and the bookings included in each order.

Tip: Bookings and orders can also be opened from the 'View your booking' and 'View your order' links in booking and order emails.

For step-by-step guidance, see the related article on viewing bookings and orders in User Profile.

Your Details

The 'Your Details' section lets users view and update their saved personal details.

This may include information such as name, address, phone numbers and other personal details collected during booking.

Keeping these details up to date can make future bookings quicker, because saved details can be used to prefill booking information where relevant.

Email address

The User Profile lets users view and manage the email address used for their Jezzam login.

Users can also check whether their email address has been verified and change their email address where needed.

Password and security

The User Profile includes options for managing login and security settings.

Users can change their password and manage available security options, such as two-factor authentication.

Preferences

The User Profile also includes preferences that let users manage available communication or display options.

The preferences shown may depend on the features available for the user and the accounts they are connected to.

Using User Profile on mobile

The User Profile is designed to work well on mobile devices.

This means users can check booking details, view orders, update details and manage their account from a phone without needing to use a desktop computer.

This is useful when customers need to check booking information while travelling, before an appointment, or before attending an event, class, course or workshop.
