If you are having problems with 1-way calendar synchronisation or the related subscription calendars in your calendar application please review some of the common issues below:


No Jezzam booking information is appearing in the subscription calendar in my calendar application


Check the following:

  • A subscription calendar with same web link exists in Jezzam.  In your Account admin panel, go to Settings > Calendar Sync and make sure that a calendar exists with the same web link

  • The subscription calendar in Jezzam is not disabled.  In your Account admin panel, go to Settings > Calendar Sync and make sure that the subscription calendar has not been disabled. Re-enable it if required.

  • You have allowed enough time for the subscription calendar to update.  The frequency at which your calendar application updates information for the Jezzam 1-way calendar synchronisation is controlled by the application and not by Jezzam.  In some cases (such as Google Calendar) this can take several hours. With other Calendar Applications (such as Apple Calendar and Outlook) you can control this frequency (see the help for your particular calendar application for more details). You can also try unsubscribing from the calendar and re-subscribing.


Staff information is not showing in the subscription calendar


Staff are not included as iCalendar "attendees" in 1-way calendar sync.  This is because 1-way calendar sync is is for publishings details of bookings managed via Jezzam and 1-way calendar sync is not intended to implement group scheduling capabilities as this should be managed via Jezzam.


However, Staff information can be included in the "Description" text.  If you do not see Staff information (name and email) in the Description text, check the following:

  • In your Account Admin Panel, go to Settings > Calendar Sync. Find the subscription calendar that has the problem and make sure that "Exclude all staff details" and "Exclude staff email address" are not checked as required.
  • Check the Staff Member has a valid email address entered via Settings > Staff.


Customer information is not showing in the subscription calendar


Customer information is not included in the iCalendar "attendees" data in 1-way calendar sync.  This is because 1-way calendar sync is is for publishings details of bookings managed via Jezzam and 1-way calendar sync is not intended to implement group scheduling capabilities as this should be managed via Jezzam.


However, Customer information can be included in the "Description" text.  If you do not see Customer information (Name and Email address) in the Description text, check the following:

  • In your Account Admin Panel, go to Settings > Calendar Sync. Find the subscription calendar that has the problem and make sure that "Exclude all customer details" and "Exclude customer email address" are not checked as required.
  • The customer has a valid email address via the Customers section.
